This program is jointly managed by Hood River Valley Parks Recreation District and the Hood River Youth Lacrosse.
Hood River Youth Lacrosse’s (HRYL) primary purpose is to develop lacrosse athletes. To further that purpose, HRYL strives to create a fun environment that allows the lacrosse player to gain an appreciation of lacrosse. Safety, skill development, conditioning, playing strategy, team camaraderie, competition, and good sportsmanship are areas of focus throughout the season. We provide a lacrosse program to benefit skill level progression for all age groups from grades K to 8.

Volunteer Opportunities
A variety of volunteer jobs are available. From distributing and collecting uniforms, helping with games (scoreboard, score table, and timer) to coaching. Many jobs require no experience, and training will be provided. Opportunity to sign up for specific dates and jobs to follow.
