Description:

The last class is on a Wednesday (27th) as Thursday (28th) is Thanksgiving.

Minnows 

Taught in the therapy pool 

Introduction to water for children 6 months of age and older. Parents will hold their child in the water as the instructor leads the course. This class focuses on: 

  • Tools to use when swimming with young children 

  • Solid base for future swimming skills 

  • Helps adapt child to water in a safe, comfortable manner 

  • Focus on water safety  

 

Bring to Class:

Preparing Your Child for Lessons 

  • Bring a towel and warm clothes. 

  • Secure long hair. 

  • Let the instructor know of medical conditions at the first lesson. 

  • Parents MUST accompany their child in the water to help non-swimmers during lessons. Instructors will guide the lesson to build skills, confidence, and teamwork. 

  • Use the restroom prior to lesson. 

  • Only light meals prior to lesson time.
