HOOD RIVER BASEBALL LEAGUE⚾

The Hood River Men’s Baseball League will be managed by Hood River Valley Parks Recreation District.

LEAGUE OVERVIEW

  • This first year we will operate with an “Open League” (18 yrs old )

  • 7-8 game season beginning Sun, August 4th

  • Playoffs will be a single game elimination tournament

  • Game days: Sundays

ROSTERS ELIGIBILITY

  • Rosters must include 9 to 15 eligible players.

  • Players must be 18 years of age or older and finished with high school.

  • All players must be added to the team roster.

  • Players who are not on a team's roster are considered ineligible and can result in forfeitures/league expulsion.

  • A player can ONLY be registered on one Hood River Parks Recreation District Baseball team.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Registration opens Monday, April 1st

  • Registration closes Monday, July 8th

  • Team Rosters due by: July 15th (turn in at Team Manager meeting)

  • Teams Manager meeting: Mon, July 15th / Hood River Aquatic Center / 5:30-7pm

  • First practices: Sun, July 21st & Sun, July 28th

  • First games: Sunday, August 4th

  • Playoff games: Sunday, September 22nd

Register Your Team - Follow these Steps:

  • Team Managers download and complete this form: Submit Team Roster

  • Team Managers collect fees from players

Pay Your Team Registration Fee - 2 Options:

  • Pay on-line with a credit card/debit card $ 750 (save $100)

    • Pay my Baseball Team Registration (opens April 1st)

  • Pay in-person with check, cash or credit card $ 850 Location: Hood River Aquatic Center, 1601 May Street, Hood River, OR
  • Monday - Thursday, 10 am - 5 pm

TEAM MANAGERS  

  • Represent/participate the team in league meetings (in-person or virtual), 

  • Respond and attend to league communication (email, text, phone calls), 

  • Communicate to team members about practice/game schedules, 

  • Maintain records for the team (scores, wins-losses, etc.) and

  • Communicate team concerns to Parks and Recreation staff
